In 2018, Rimantas Kaukenas Support Group awarded Gediminas Ziemelis, Chairman of the Board of Avia Solutions Group, for being one of the most significant sponsors. His support is important for providing the patients with the necessary medical equipment, non-reimbursed medicine and organisation of children’s leisure activities and entertainment.
2016
In 2016, Gediminas Ziemelis was acknowledged for his visionary and business management and development skills by the prestigious European Business Award jury comprised of EU leaders in economics, education, business and politics. Avia Solutions Group, led by Gediminas has become a national public champion in Entrepreneurship category, earning a spot between top 110 European businesses.
2015
In 2015 Gediminas Ziemelis was awarded with the EuroBasket 2015 Vice Champions’ medal as a special gratitude from the President of the Lithuanian Basketball Federation Arvydas Sabonis for supporting Lithuania’s national team as well as basketball in general.

2012
Aviation Week & Space Technology embarked on a search for the talented individuals and rising stars of the global aerospace and defence industry. Gediminas Ziemelis, the Chairman of Avia Solutions Group, was selected among the top 40 most talented young leaders in the aviation industry. Aviation Week & Space Technology considered the candidacies of approximately 200 professionals from various countries, nominated by the industry’s key players.
2010
In 2010, the magazine ‘Vzlet‘ together with www.aviaport.ru recognised Avia Solutions Group as the best company operating within the aircraft technical support sector. Its chairman of the board, Gediminas Ziemelis, was crowned the sector’s ‘Man of the Year’.
