Support to famous Lithuanian guitarist, Aurelijus Globys.
Endeavouring to enhance guitar music in Lithuania, Gediminas Ziemelis has supported famous Lithuanian musician, Aureljius Globys, in acquiring a new state-of-the-art instrument.
Aurelijus Globys attended the variety guitar class at the J. Tallat-Kelpsa Conservatory. Beginning from 1994, Aurelijus was performing with “Pelenai” and “ОК” bands, as well as acting with the performer groups “Viengungiai” and “Keistuoliai“. In 1996, Aurelijus and his colleague from the “Volis” band, Vladas Kovaliovas, created a new group “Nacija”. In 2000, Aurelijus began his solo career by becoming a flamenco guitarist. Mr Globys often performs with the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra’s virtuoso violinist Zbigniew Lewicki.
Personal donation for the treatment of maestro Vytautas Kernagis
Gediminas Ziemelis had financially contributed to the social initiative aimed at collecting funds for the treatment of maestro, Vytautas Kernagis, who sadly lost his battle against cancer in 2008.
